The National Certification Body of Jamaica (NCBJ) offers certification services to companies in Jamaica and the Wider Caribbean.

In addition to enhancing the competitiveness of the companies we serve, through certification, the NCBJ plays an integral role in the institutional strengthening and promotion of the National Quality Infrastructure.

We work closely with the manufacturing and service sectors, public and private sector organizations. We ensure that the certification process remains credible, by making decisions on the basis of sufficient objective evidence that a company’s system conforms to the requirements of the relevant standard. The NCBJ also ensures that adequate controls are in place to reduce threats to impartiality and conflict of interest in our certification activities.
