The National Certification Body of Jamaica (NCBJ) is pleased to announce that as of the 4 September 2018 a certificate of conformity was awarded to The University Council of Jamaica for conforming to the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System.

The scope of their certification covers, “Registration of Institutions, Accreditation of Programmes and Institutions, Recognition of Transnational Education Programmes, Assessment of Credentials, Development of Standards, and Communications and Public Education”.

This globally recognized certification shows commitment to quality across their business operations as they seek more opportunities to conduct business in the global marketplace.

Note 1: Changes are communicated in the form of Advisories on an ongoing basis and may be based on changes in NCBJ’s scope of operations i.e. structural, procedural, operational, and regulatory and or accreditation requirements.

Note 2: Upon receipt of this Advisory please submit a written response to the Assistant Operations Officer (AOO) email: gvsmith@bsj.org.jm or Designate to indicate that you have read and is aware of the changes outlined.

Note 3: The recipient of a controlled document shall remove all obsolete versions from points of use. Obsolete documents that are retained shall be clearly identified as such.
